a note on valentine’s day
it has taken me forever to watch the movie.
i was all worked up about it when i heard there was such a movie that showcased so many of the talented actors that ive admired through the years.
well, i finally watched it today. march 26.
it was pretty good. i honestly believed that the mini-stories all melted into one delicious, thought-provoking movie. it just made me think and realize that love does not always mean that you get to live happily ever after. well, not at least all the time. but no matter what the outcome, it’s still good to have loved that never at all.
i liked the shirley maclaine-hector elizondo story best, and how it gels with the anne hathaway-topher grace bit. :) the kid and julia roberts pulled at my heartstrings. the gay love story was refreshing..i didnt expect that mcsteamy would play the role. cool!
in the end, it really didnt matter who had more exposure than who. everyone played their roles and it made the movie beautiful.
i on the otherhand, went to watch it although late, and really appreciated it. :) i wouldnt mind watching it again. REALLY!!!
